On December 12, 2024, Rep. D'Esposito posted a quote by Vince Lombardi: “It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.” He followed this with an expression of support for Donald Trump using the phrase "@realDonaldTrump is UP!" along with patriotic emojis.
In another post on the same day, he simply shared the hashtag #FidelisAdMortem.
Later that day, Rep. D'Esposito addressed legislative matters by urging careful consideration for the Consumer Directed Patient Assistance Program. He stated that "Congress must give the Consumer Directed Patient Assistance Program the time and care that it deserves — rushing it is a profound disservice to New Yorkers." He also expressed pride in standing with fellow New York Republicans to urge Speaker Johnson to provide appropriate attention to this issue.
