New York State Senator Steve Rhoads has concluded his 2nd Annual Mobile Office Hour Tour, an initiative designed to make government more accessible to constituents. This outreach program allowed individuals in his Senate District to engage in personal discussions with the Senator, addressing local issues and concerns. Senator Rhoads emphasizes public service through accessibility and transparency, encapsulated by his tagline: “Accessible, Honest, & Transparent Leadership you can count on!”

Over the two-year tour, Senator Rhoads held 27 meetings across every library in his district multiple times, connecting with hundreds of residents. These sessions helped strengthen his relationship with constituents and enabled him to represent their voices in Albany effectively. The Senator is committed to continuing this tradition and plans to expand the Mobile Office Hour Tour in future years.

Senator Rhoads remarked, “Whether it was representing you in Mineola as a Legislator or now as a State Senator in Albany, the commitment remains the same - to be transparent, responsive, and effective in listening to your concerns and taking action.” He expressed appreciation for those who participated in the tour and highlighted the importance of dialogue with community members. As he prepares for the next tour set for 2025, Senator Rhoads aims to maintain open communication within his district.
