Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st A.D.) voted in favor of a proposal aimed at simplifying the surrogacy process (A.4921-C). The bill seeks to achieve this by clarifying definitions related to surrogacy.

"I was proud to vote in favor of this proposal today, far too often people can be confused by the complex definitions involved in surrogacy and payments regarding it. Hopefully, this bill will make it a little easier for those who are trying to get pregnant. As a dad myself, I would never want to make anything more complicated for those trying to have a child," said Curran.
