Anthony D’Esposito highlights community efforts and condemns violence in recent statements

Rep. Anthony D’Esposito, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 4th district, recently shared several statements on social media reflecting his involvement in community events and current issues.

On December 7, 2024, Rep. D'Esposito expressed his satisfaction with sponsoring children for the "Shop With A Cop" initiative, describing it as a holiday tradition at Matty's Toy Stop in New York's 4th District. He noted that this year marked a record-breaking period for PROJECT THANK A COP, an effort aimed at assisting those less fortunate during the holiday season. He extended his gratitude to law enforcement officers for their support in this initiative. "Always happy to sponsor children for #ShopWithACop, now a holiday tradition @MattysToyStop in #NY04."

In another post dated December 9, 2024, Rep. D'Esposito expressed concern and offered prayers for two young boys in California who were critically injured after being shot by what he described as a "far-left, pro-terrorist lunatic." He condemned the violence associated with pro-Hamas activists and called for an end to such incidents. "Praying for Elias and Roman, 5 and 6 year old boys in California..."

Later on December 9, 2024, Rep. D'Esposito conveyed his support to fellow congressman Michael C. Burgess through a message of solidarity from their House GOP family. "Prayers are with my friend and colleague, @michaelcburgess."
