Anthony D'Esposito discusses FAFSA reform and community engagement events

Rep. Anthony D’Esposito, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 4th District since 2023, shared several updates on his recent activities through social media posts. D'Esposito, a Hofstra University graduate and Island Park resident, highlighted legislative initiatives and community engagements.

On November 16, 2024, Rep. D’Esposito announced significant changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) program through the FAFSA Deadline Act. He stated that these reforms aim to "prevent the failures of the Biden-Harris Department of Education from negatively impacting students." The full statement can be accessed here.

The following day, November 17, he expressed support for local community service by attending a #PancakeBreakfast organized by Merrick NY Kiwanis. He praised the volunteers’ dedication to improving their communities within New York's 4th district (#NY04). More details are available here.
