Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick is encouraging the community to participate in a book drive aimed at promoting literacy. The initiative invites individuals to donate gently used books, whether they are clearing out their bookshelves or sharing a beloved read.
Books can be donated at several locations:

- Long Beach Public Library, 111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY 11561
- Elmont Memorial Library, 700 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003
- Peninsula Public Library, 280 Central Ave., Lawrence, NY 11559
- Malverne Public Library, 61 St Thomas Place, Malverne, NY 11565
This effort provides an opportunity for the community to contribute to literacy and education by making books accessible to more people.
