Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz recently hosted the annual Toys for Tots holiday toy drive, collaborating with the Hicksville Public Library as a donation drop-off point. The event was deemed successful, with constituents contributing new, unwrapped toys at both the library and Blumencranz's district office. The collection amassed enough toys to fill over ten garbage bags.

Blumencranz expressed gratitude towards the residents of the 15th Assembly District for their generosity during this period. He urged constituents to continue remembering those in need during the holiday season.

“Our annual Toys for Tots toy drive was a resounding success and showcased the generosity of Long Islanders this holiday season,” said Blumencranz. “I want to thank Hicksville Public Library for partnering with us and most importantly I want to thank each of you who took time out of your day over the last few weeks to donate toys to help put a smile on the face of a child in need. Your support goes a long way toward making the holidays a special time for everyone.”
