Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R,C-Oyster Bay) recently hosted this year’s Toys for Tots holiday toy drive and expressed his pride in the turnout. Blumencranz collaborated with various libraries in the area, such as the Gold Coast, Hicksville, Syosset, Jericho, Locust Valley, and Bethpage libraries, which served as drop-off locations for new, unwrapped toys. Participants also had the option to drop off toys at the assemblyman’s district office.

"This year’s Toys for Tots drive was a total success and showed the generosity of Long Islanders during the holiday season," said Blumencranz. "With many families struggling to make ends meet, events like this can make a difference for children in need."

Blumencranz expressed his hope that the event would have a positive impact on the community and encouraged residents of the 15th Assembly District to remember those less fortunate during this time of year.

"I want to thank all the libraries who partnered with us and the participants who donated to support their community for making the holidays a special time for everyone," Blumencranz added.
