Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R,C-Oyster Bay) held a blood drive yesterday, July 26, and was very proud of the turnout. Participants came out to Gold Coast Library to donate blood and we saved nearly 100 lives thanks to all of the donors. Blumencranz hopes this event will bring a positive impact to the community and highlight the importance of donating blood.

Blumencranz expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, "This event was a great success, and the turnout was amazing." He further added, "Seeing all the people who came out to donate makes me proud to be a part of this community and I hope it shows the impact donating blood has on saving lives."
