Assemblyman Brian Curran of the Lynbrook-21st A.D. recently met with Rockville Centre Union Free School District Superintendent Matt Gaven to mark the allocation of "bullet aid" from the state budget. The aid, totaling $20 thousand, was secured by Assemblyman Curran for The Rockville Centre School District.
"I will always support the Rockville Centre School District and their amazing students and staff. They truly are one of the best school districts in the country and do an amazing job educating the young people of Rockville Centre," expressed Curran. He also expressed enthusiasm about the projects planned by Superintendent Gaven using the secured funds.
Superintendent Gaven, in response, expressed gratitude towards Assemblyman Curran for his efforts in securing additional aid for the district. He highlighted the plans to enhance community communication systems through the purchase of Parent Square, enabling the district to communicate with parents through various channels during critical situations.
The aid provided by Assemblyman Curran is poised to benefit the Rockville Centre School District by supporting essential projects and improving communication channels with parents and the community.
