“We learned this week that one of the victims of the deadly earthquake in Turkey and Syria was a member of the CUNY family. Kimberly Firik, who was a 2014 graduate of The City College of New York, perished in the disaster along with her husband, Burak, and their young children, Hamza and Bilal.
