Assemblyman John Mikulin has expressed his support for Assembly Bill A.3938, known as the 'Alexander John Smullen Traffic Safety Memorial Law.' The proposed legislation aims to establish a program for traffic safety memorial signs to honor victims of fatal vehicle collisions. It also seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired, reckless, or distracted driving.

Mikulin stated, "The ‘Alexander John Smullen Traffic Safety Memorial Law’ will help keep every New Yorker safe on the road. This bipartisan law is a common-sense way to help raise awareness about the consequences of dangerous driving. I am proud to support this proposal and help promote it alongside my colleagues on both sides of the aisle."

The bill is designed to foster public consciousness regarding traffic safety issues by commemorating those who have lost their lives in traffic incidents.
