Assemblymen John Mikulin, Michael Durso, and Jake Blumencranz have announced that the Farmingdale Public Library will receive $47,707 in construction aid. This funding will be used to install PVC fencing set in cement, providing a safer perimeter barrier designed to withstand harsh weather conditions.

Mikulin expressed pride in announcing the allocation of funds, stating, “Our public libraries deserve our support. We are looking forward to seeing the renovation project completed.”

Durso emphasized the importance of public libraries within communities, noting that these improvement projects will help secure their future. He added, “Public libraries play a critical role in our communities. These improvement projects will secure their future and ensure that residents of all ages have a quiet place to go to pick up a good book, sit back and explore the world around them.”
