Former Gen Douglas Macarthur Senior High School player and current NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops third baseman, Matt Balan, will compete in the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded Scranton Royals.

The first game is on Friday, May 17.
