WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Anthony D'Esposito (R-NY) issued the following statement regarding Congressman George Santos.

“I fully support expelling the disgusting liar George Santos from the House of Representatives and was one of the first to call for both his resignation and expulsion. Since we don’t yet have the needed 2/3 supermajority to expel Santos, the quickest way to rid this institution of this stain is to refer this issue to the House Ethics Committee. I expect the bipartisan House Ethics Committee to move quickly, and take the necessary action to rid the House of Representatives of this scourge on our government.”
