Earlier this week, Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin along with Senior Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby and TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscoll joined with members and leaders from CSEA Local 880 for the annual Bill Flanagan Scholarship Presentation & Luncheon in #MerrickNY.
The yearly event highlights the recipients of scholarships awarded by CSEA Local 880 to student relatives of Hempstead Town employees. The funds provided by the union serving the township's workforce help many budding scholars achieve their academic goals.
