Today, members of the City of Long Beach Fire Department were awarded commendations by Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for their heroic actions at the scene of a fire, where an alleged armed barricaded perpetrator purportedly set fire to a home on November 19, 2020 at 100 Erie Ave in Atlantic Beach.
