6.6 percent of Molloy College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 6.6 percent of Molloy College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Molloy College has 3,439 undergraduate students, of which 73 percent are women and 27 percent are men, and a total student body of 4,929 students. Of these students, 156 men and 171 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Molloy College with the most participants are lacrosse (60), soccer (46) and track and field, indoor (36).
