Cost of college went up for all students at the Webb Institute

Tuition and fees rose 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at the Webb Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $50,175 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,400 more than the $48,775 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 26 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.3 million and 8 students took out student loans totaling more than $32,500.

Including all undergraduates (104), 98 students used grants or scholarships totaling $4.8 million, and 29 students took out $171,500 in federal student loans.
