81 percent of applicants to Molloy College were admitted for fall 2018

At Molloy College, 79 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 73 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Rockville Centre enrolled 4,929 students in fall 2018, including 3,439 in undergraduate and 1,490 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

93 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 6 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (17 percent).

The school admitted 81 percent of the 4,427 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 17 percent enrolled.
