68 percent of applicants to Veeb Nassau County School of Practical Nursing were admitted for fall 2018

At Veeb Nassau County School of Practical Nursing, 68 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 85 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The public school in Hicksville enrolled 207 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (75 percent) and Asian (10 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 99 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 52 percent enrolled.
