City of Long Beach issued the following announcement on July 31

Please be advised that the Nassau County Industrial Development Association (IDA) will hold two virtual hearings on the proposed tax abatement for Engel Burman’s development of the Super Block property.  The IDA hearings will be held on Thursday, August 6 at 6:00pm and Friday, August 7 at 10:00am via zoom.  Residents are strongly encouraged to register for these hearings, which can be done via the IDA’s website -  https://nassauida.org/.

Please note: We are also working with the IDA to identify a location where these hearings can be held in-person, safely and in accordance with COVID-19 guidance. We will update if such a facility is secured.
