Nassau County issued the following announcement on April 10
Yesterday, New York State deemed golf courses as “non-essential” businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. Beginning today, county-owned and operated golf courses and driving ranges will be closed through at least April 29th to slow the spread of COVID-19.
We will reevaluate our options in the near future. I would like to personally thank our dedicated County Parks and golf course employees and look forward to seeing everyone back on the greens soon.
