NASSAU COUNTY: Statement from County Executive Laura Curran Regarding County Golf Course Operations During Pandemic

Golf recap form 1084

Nassau County issued the following announcement on April 10

Yesterday, New York State deemed golf courses as “non-essential” businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. Beginning today, county-owned and operated golf courses and driving ranges will be closed through at least April 29th to slow the spread of COVID-19.

We will reevaluate our options in the near future. I would like to personally thank our dedicated County Parks and golf course employees and look forward to seeing everyone back on the greens soon.
