On Thursday, March 20, former Valley Stream North High School standout Dom Obukwelu’s current collegiate team the Wesleyan Cardinals lost 73-69 against the Trinity Bantams in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the Trinity Bantams during the championship.

Dom Obukwelu’s hometown is Franklin Square and game position is guard.
