On Friday, March 21, former Long Island Lutheran High School standout Kate Koval’s current collegiate team the Notre Dame Fighting Irish won 106-54 against the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Purcell Pavilion, this was the first game against the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks during the championship.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. in Purcell Pavilion against Michigan Wolverines.

Kate Koval’s game position is forward.
