On Sunday, March 23, former Long Island Lutheran High School standout Syla Swords’ current collegiate team the Michigan Wolverines lost 76-55 against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Purcell Pavilion, this was the first game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish during the championship.

Syla Swords’ game position is guard.
