On Saturday, March 22, former Long Island Lutheran High School standout Uta Nakamura’s current collegiate team the Smith Pioneers lost 77-49 against the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Cregger Center, this was the first game against the NYU Violets during the championship.

Uta Nakamura’s hometown is Manhattan and game position is guard.
