The average cost of e85 gas in cities within Nassau County was $2.54 per gallon.

There are 399 gas stations in cities within Nassau County.

The average price of e85 gas in New York was $2.69, compared to $2.71 the week before.

The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.

The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.
