The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Melanie D'Arrigo, Friends of Melanie Darrigo, refunded $5,800 to Douglas D'Arrigo on May 24, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Friends of Melanie Darrigo has refunded $5,800 total since Dec. 1, 2020.
