Census Bureau: More men than women in Centre Island in 2019

Of the 446 people living in Centre Island in 2019, 49.6 percent (221) were women and 50.4 percent (225) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Nassau Standard.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 127-to-124. In the 65 and over age range, there were 63 females and 60 males.
