On Sunday, April 20, former St. Dominic High School standout Matthew Cruz’s current college team, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, won 12-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Bainton Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Scarlet Knights’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at Jack Kaiser Stadium against St. John’s Red Storm.
