On Saturday, April 19, former St. Dominic High School standout Matthew Cruz’s current college team, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Bainton Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Scarlet Knights’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 20 at 1 p.m. at Bainton Field against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
