On Thursday, May 15, former Wellington C. Mepham High School standout Sofia LaSpina’s current collegiate team the Penn Tech Wildcats lost 0-5 against the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mather Park at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the tournament.

The Penn Tech Wildcats’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2:40 p.m. at Mather Park.
