Shashi Malik is recognized for her significant contributions as a businesswoman, philanthropist, and community leader. With over three decades of experience in information technology, she has held key positions such as Chief Information Officer, Vice President, and Director at major companies. As the owner of SD Services Inc., Malik has shown leadership in the corporate sector.

Beyond her professional life, Malik is committed to humanitarian efforts. She founded the Seva Center for Humanity, which supports veterans, law enforcement, and underserved families through donations of essential items and advocacy training. Her commitment to health education is evident through her monthly cancer awareness sessions.

Malik also contributes to the Nargis Dutt Cancer Memorial Foundation by supporting cancer awareness and patient care. Her volunteer work spans several nonprofit organizations including the India Association of Long Island, World Vegan Vision, Gift of Life USA, and others. She also aids RotaCare NY Free Health Clinic and other local initiatives.

Her service has earned her The President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2013. She holds positions on the National Executive Committee of the Association of Indians in America and is a United Way Community Impact Council Member.

A former Indian Army member who worked on India’s first computer project, Malik co-authored a guide on Cross System Product published by McGraw Hill. Residing in Wantagh for over 40 years with her family, she emphasizes that societal help should be a primary life goal.
