Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick, a Republican representing New York, posted several updates on social media between March 11 and March 12, 2026, highlighting meetings with educators, environmental discussions, and concerns about the state’s justice system.

On March 11, Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick thanked educators for visiting her Albany office. She wrote: “Thank you to the @nysut team for stopping by my Albany office this week. It was great to connect with so many dedicated educators and advocates who are focused on supporting our students and strengthening New York’s schools.”

Later that day, she shared details of a conversation regarding turfgrass management in New York. In her post dated March 11, she stated: “It may be another week until St. Patrick’s Day, but we were talking all things green with the @NYSTurfgrass . From their environmental stewardship, to their career development initiatives and contributions to our state’s economy, it was great hearing from turfgrass management”

On March 12, Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick addressed the role of politics in the judicial system. She said: “There is no room for politics in our justice system. Judges must remain fair, impartial, focused solely on the law, and ultimately, exercise good judgment. As both a legislator and an attorney, I take that responsibility seriously. The comments made by Chief Judge Wilson fall”

Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick has been active in advocating for public safety, fiscal responsibility and environmental protection in Long Island communities according to her official biography. Her background includes multiple local government roles in Malverne—trustee, police commissioner, fire commissioner, deputy mayor and budget director—and advocacy for homeowners and small businesses against excessive regulations as well as environmental concerns impacting Long Island. She holds degrees from St. John’s University School of Law and College of Business Administration along with a Master of Laws from New York University School of Law.

She resides in Malverne with her husband and four children.
