On Friday, May 2, former Seaford Senior High School standout Anna Butler’s current college team, the Hofstra Pride, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Monmouth Hawks.
The game took place at Bill Edwards Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Hawks this season.
The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at Bill Edwards Stadium against Monmouth Hawks.
Kyle Palmieri says his ACL recovery is going well following surgery in late November. He expects to have a normal summer of training and be ready for next hockey season.
The New York Islanders have signed forward Quinn Finley to a two-year entry-level contract following his standout collegiate career. Finley led Wisconsin in goals last season and has represented Team USA internationally. The young forward was drafted by New York in 2022.
