On Saturday, May 3, former Massapequa High School standout Emily Balducci’s current college team, the Assumption Greyhounds, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pace Setters.
The game took place at Pace Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Setters this season.
It was the last Assumption Greyhounds’ game this season
Kyle Palmieri says his ACL recovery is going well following surgery in late November. He expects to have a normal summer of training and be ready for next hockey season.
The New York Islanders have signed forward Quinn Finley to a two-year entry-level contract following his standout collegiate career. Finley led Wisconsin in goals last season and has represented Team USA internationally. The young forward was drafted by New York in 2022.
