On Thursday, May 8, former Sacred Heart Academy standout Kayla Fitzpatrick’s current college team, the West Chester Golden Rams, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Shippensburg Raiders.
The game took place at Creekview Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Raiders this season.
The Golden Rams’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Creekview Park against Bowie State Bulldogs.
Kyle Palmieri says his ACL recovery is going well following surgery in late November. He expects to have a normal summer of training and be ready for next hockey season.
The New York Islanders have signed forward Quinn Finley to a two-year entry-level contract following his standout collegiate career. Finley led Wisconsin in goals last season and has represented Team USA internationally. The young forward was drafted by New York in 2022.
