On Thursday, May 8, former Locust Valley High School standout Sophia Veteri’s current collegiate team the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans won 2-0 against the Bentley Falcons in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Pace Softball Field at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Bentley Falcons in the tournament.

The St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. at Pace Softball Field.
