On Thursday, May 22, former Kellenberg Memorial High School standout Julia Piotrowski’s current collegiate team the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins won 8-0 against the Gettysburg Bullets in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Gettysburg Bullets in the tournament.

The Virginia Wesleyan Marlins’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 1 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
