On Sunday, April 27, former Locust Valley High School standout Sophia Veteri’s current college team, the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Molloy Lions.

The game took place at Spartan Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Lions this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 12 p.m. at Spartan Field against D’Youville Saints.
