On Friday, April 25, former Chaminade High School standout John Downing’s current college team, the Seton Hall Pirates, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Butler Bulldogs.

The game took place at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium at Owen T. Carroll Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 4:05 p.m. at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium at Owen T. Carroll Field against Butler Bulldogs.
