Every day, I serve one of Long Island’s important institutions – Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC). For decades, the hospital and its services have impacted the lives of millions, particularly the most vulnerable in Nassau County. NUMC is a universal benefit for the area’s population. It is hard to imagine any Nassau residents who have not used this crucial health care facility or don’t know someone who has.
