On Saturday, May 10, former Locust Valley High School standout Sophia Veteri’s current collegiate team the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans lost 2-6 against the Pace Setters in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Pace Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Pace Setters in the tournament.

The St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 4 p.m. at Pace Softball Field.
