On Friday, April 18, former Massapequa High School standout Lauren O’Brien’s current college team, the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Barry Buccaneers.
The game took place at Buccaneer Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

Kyle Palmieri says his ACL recovery is going well following surgery in late November. He expects to have a normal summer of training and be ready for next hockey season.
The New York Islanders have signed forward Quinn Finley to a two-year entry-level contract following his standout collegiate career. Finley led Wisconsin in goals last season and has represented Team USA internationally. The young forward was drafted by New York in 2022.
