Former H. Frank Carey High School athlete Adrianna Barragan and her college squad, the John Jay Bloodhounds, were defeated 11-2 by the Kean Cougars in their NCAA Division III softball game held Wednesday, March 18, at 5 p.m.

The contest, which was played at Cougar Softball Field, marked the second time this season these teams have faced each other. During their earlier meeting on Wednesday, March 18, the Bloodhounds narrowly lost 4-3 to the Cougars.

Barragan pitched for 2.2 innings, surrendering two earned runs and issuing five walks.

Up next, the Bloodhounds will play the William Paterson Pioneers on Tuesday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field.
