On Friday, March 20, Jayden Ross, a former basketball standout from Long Island Lutheran High School, helped his current team, the UConn Huskies, secure an 82-71 victory over the Furman Paladins in the NCAA Tournament.
UConn and Furman competed at Xfinity Mobile Arena at 10 p.m.
Ross recorded two points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 21 minutes of action.
The UConn Huskies are scheduled to play their next contest Sunday, March 22 at 5:45 p.m. at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
