On Friday, April 18, former Wellington C. Mepham High School standout Gia Miccio’s current college team, the Hartford Hawks, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Nichols Bison.

The game took place at Nichols Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bison this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at Hartford Softball Field against Curry Colonels.
