Former Massapequa High School standout Sophia Diaz played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Massapequa High School standout Sophia Diaz’s current collegiate team the Ramapo Roadrunners won 5-0 against the John Jay Bloodhounds in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Bobby Jones Field at 2:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the John Jay Bloodhounds in the tournament.

The Ramapo Roadrunners’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:05 p.m. at Bobby Jones Field.
